Overview

Welcome to BinOC/Labs, the long overdue superset-successor to Binary Outcast Projects. Focusing on research and production of divergent open source technology and the techniques and infrastructure to deliver them.

Cool, but what does that actually mean?

Basically? The Laboratories will be forking open source software as well as creating unique projects and experiments based along traditional lines adapted and evolved for more modern day purposes. While also fostering efforts in attainable reproduction of not just powerful software but services and infrastructure used along the way by anyone not just the modern tech elites or wizards of old.

So just like the old days right?

Not quite, while the substance of accomplishment shall be similar.. There are significant differences due to a myriad of factors that have changed over time.

Good idea, are you actually going to do it this time?

Yes.

Are you sure?

Go look for yourself using the links in the global header. Or if you want something more characteristically drama-inducing you can read the News & Updates page currently linked in the page menubar. In any event, I have SCIENCE to do. And yes, Computer Science is STILL Science.
